12 January 2008 - Shaftesbury

A saturday afternoon visit to this hilltop town in North Dorset. Earlier in the day had been sunny but by the time we arrived it had started to cloud over.

Another image from the same set of photographs but processed using the HDR technique. This is my first attempt at HDR. It is made from three images at different exposures which are combined in Photoshop to give the high dynamic range effect.

A rather sad looking Grosvenor Hotel. The earliest records of this old coaching inn date back to 1541. It is to be auctioned at the end of January.
