A day out on the train.

A walk around the Cathedral close.

In this corner of the close are three gable houses which were built in the 16th century and were occupied by the craftsmen attached to the Cathedral.

This is a very photogenic corner of Exeter.

The Royal Clarence Hotel, the first hostelry in England to be known as an hotel (1770).

This is a popular place to wander around and stop and eat a sandwich. But not quite so popular on this cold February day.
