Stourhead gardens

An early autumn visit to see the changing colours in the trees.

A pile of bits and bobs arranged to look like a house. A great home for insects. It made me smile!

A nice splash of colour in the walled garden near the house.

This was a surprise encounter. A sculpture trail was laid out around the lakes in the northern corner of the gardens. The works are by the Scraptors.

Not sure what this creature is supposed to be.
