A visit to see how the autumn colours are looking

The light was not very good. Looking across the lake to the boathouse.

This large tree has been recently felled. I assume because it was diseased.

The stump. On a blown up version of this I could count roughly 100 rings.

For a brief moment the sun came out and illuminated these lovely leaves.
