The second stop on my Sunday morning cycle ride.

The village church of St. Mary the Virgin. The church has recently celebrated it’s 700th year. The church has been altered over the years. The end wall shows the outline of an earlier phase.

The bells were restored to celebrate the new millennium.
Sadly the churchyard contains the grave of a local young man who was a victim of the tsunami in Thailand on 26 Dec 2004.
