It was popular up here today. A good spot for a picnic.

2 September 2011

At the end of the working week and inspired by our visit of 28 August we decided to take picnic tea to eat on Eggardon Hill whilst we took in the views.

From our picnic spot looking straight up into the sky. Very high wispy clouds.

What we had not expected was low cloud drifting in from the coast obscuring the view down to the coast. However, this created the opportunity to take some very atmospheric pictures as the sun faded. It was like being in an aeroplane above the clouds.
