An evening floodlit visit to the sub-tropical gardens. The gardens open in the autumn from mid October to early November for visitors to experience the magic of a night time walk.
The photographs were all taken hand held with my compact camera so I was not able to take long exposures. However, I think they capture the atmosphere.
All the colours of the rainbow.
The place was very busy and the cafe was doing a good trade.
A magnificent eucalyptus tree with shredded bark dangling eerily.
One of the several floodlit bridges.
Three small tree ferns and an old felled tree.
This illuminated tree put me in mind of a firework exploding.
The red pathway.
The first snow of the winter, albeit artificial snow, falling on the reindeer.
