December 2017 - Our first visit to the National Trust property Godolphin House. Godolphin House is situated in Godolphin Cross about 4 miles north west of Helston.

The house is a 12 person holiday let for 3 weeks every month.

At one time Godolphin House was the largest house in Cornwall with 100 rooms. It was the former seat of the Dukes of Leeds. Only about a third of the house now remains. Quite a few parts were demolished by previous owners to make way for farm buildings.
