11 May 2008 - Kingsdon

A detour on a bike ride to Somerton. I have often passed the turning to Kingsdon on the way to Street but never gone into the village.

The main street just outside the village church. The shop on the left is the post office which is under threat of closure.

The approach to the village church of All Saints which dates from 1242.

It is very often the case that you cannot step back far enough in a church yard to capture the whole church. Perhaps I need to invest in a wider angle lens.
