Strode House on the left and Elizabethan court house.
The Elizabethan court house is thought to date from the mid 1500’s.
Strode House houses the NT shop and restaurant.
The Court House was until recently the home for Stuart Interiors. However, the house is now empty and unusually for NT properties it is now permissible to walk round and take pictures.
Walking round now you have to use your imagination to think what it would have looked like in its early life.
