19 August 2007 - Whernside

A walk from Ribbleshead to the summit of Whernside. This is our first climb of Whernside, making our three peaks total now two. For more info on the three peaks follow this link.

The start of our walk - Ribbleshead viaduct.

Right on cue a train appears!

A footpath across the boggy parts. The path was made from old millstone flags.
