A continuation of our Dorset Coastal Path walk. This section is from East Fleet south east to the Bridging Hard.
The starting point for this walk was the church of Holy Trinity, Fleet.
We joined the coast path near the old East Fleet Church.
A quick look inside.
Heading south east.
This is a well worn path.
East Fleet farm campsite.
Onwards.
A small landing stage.
Chickerell hive point.
Tidmoor point rifle range across the bay.
No firing today thank goodness or we would have had to take a big detour.
A quick look back at our route so far.
Tidmoor cove in the foreground and Lynch cove in the distance with the caravans at Littlesea holiday park.
Another landing stage.
Tidmoor creek.
I think this is Sea Sandwort. It is difficult to see the details on the flowers.
Looking back to Tidmoor point.
Fleet lagoon information board.
Almost at our destination looking back along our route.
The end of the route, the RE Bridging Hard.
Sea Campions.
The long view down the Fleet.
Very calm as we pass the landing stage on the return walk.
