Angle is a village and community located on a narrow peninsula on the south west tip of Wales in Pembrokeshire. Our reason for visiting was to see Thorn Island where one of my wifes distant relatives used to be stationed.
Our first glimpse of Thorn Island. The fort on the island was built to defend Milford Haven. It was built in 1854.

Angle beach.
Angle church dedicated to Saint Mary. The church is thought to date from the 13th century.
At the back of the church is this seaman's chapel dedicated to St Anthony. The chapel dates from the 15th century.
This picture taken in the churchyard shows Angle Castle. This is a single Pele Tower that was built in the 14th century by Robert de Shirburn.
